With a warm welcome Western Mongol Tour invites you to take part in our tours or travel packages and ground services Ulgii provinces of Mongolia. Mainly our tour company operates in western part of Mongolia, specifically in Ulgii province. We also have several camp in Khovd, Uvs and Khovosgol provinces. Ulgii is the unique provinces among other provinces of Mongolia with its ethnicity, attractive natural view, cultural uniqueness of Kazakh people. Eagle hunting of Kazakh people is the most attractive side of Ulgii.

Called “the Roof of the World”, Bayan-Ulgii is a far-off land of high mountains (the Mongol Altai - Tavan Bogd mountains with 4,373 m peak) torrents and glaciers, inhabited by Kazakh people, a minority who has a different culture from the Mongols, herding yaks and goats and hunting with trained eagles.

Visa is required for all, except citizens of the following countries. Visas are available from the Mongolian embassy (Check here) in your country. If there is no Mongolia embassy in your country, one month visas can be obtained on the spot once you arrive at the airport or railway station. There will also be a visa fee of $53US. We will supply an official confirmation letter (by email or post) for your visa application once you book a travel servse with us.
